K-On! Precious Memories Collection Information
Precious Memories released several different K-on! sets of cards for their Japanese CCG. Set 1 was actually the first ever Precious Memories set! With over 1,000 cards and variations, it's quite a challenging collection to complete.
Set Information
- Sets 1-4 were sold in retail stores, each accompanied by their own starter deck
- Set 5 was exclusively sold at the K-On! Movie screenings
- Movie promotional cards were distributed with movie tickets
- Promo cards came from various sources including tournaments, merchandise, and special events
- Lawson convenience store cards were included with snack purchases
Special Cards
- Silver Signature cards: Included one random card per starter deck
- Gold Signature cards: Randomly inserted in booster packs (approximately 1 per 2 booster boxes)
- Hand Autographed cards: Required collecting 300 redemption stickers from booster packs (approximately 250 packs or 13 booster boxes)
- Character sleeve promotional cards: Multiple sets available, with the "Chara Sleeves DX" series including special promo cards

CHARA SLEEVES
They made a lot of sleeves! Sets 1-5 have the main 5 characters. Set 1 also had UI sleeves.
There were additional sleeves around the time the movie/set 5 came out. These sleeves came with a batch of promo cards. Set DX009 is inexpicably more expensive than the other two that had promo cards. Not sure why.

STARTER DECKS
These were basic starter decks with a fixed list of included cards. You were guaranteed one foil silver signature per starter.
Note that set 5 has no starter decks, but it's a weird small set to begin with.
